Anna Serierse is an award winning jazz vocalist from the Netherlands.
She’s know for her crystal clear, versatile voice and impeccable timing. After graduating from the Conservatory of Amsterdam, Copenhagen and Trondheim, her career begun as a bandleader and as a side woman. She performed all over the world, with bands like the Idema/Serierse Quartet, Cantorias and the Kika Sprangers Quartet & Large Ensemble. A recent highlight was a performance as the Diva character of Monster Hunter Wilds in Tokyo with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra.
In the past 2 years has won 2 Edison awards (Dutch Grammy’s) in the category Jazz Vocal. With her own quartet, the Idema/Serierse Quartet (which she co-leads with guitarist Gijs Idema) she just released a third album (Serenade in Blue), where they shine a new light on the standards from the American Songbook.
