Miran Noh

Pianist/composer

Miran Noh (NOHMI) is a Rotterdam-based jazz pianist and composer whose music bridges classical Impressionism and contemporary jazz. Inspired by Ravel, Debussy, Shai Maestro, and Immanuel Wilkins, Miran creates imaginative, emotional soundscapes that move fluidly between eras and sonic worlds. Influenced by her Korean cultural roots and the colors of Impressionist music, she has developed a deeply personal compositional voice.

On stage, NOHMI creates a mysterious, atmospheric energy, using layered textures that blur the boundary between dream and reality. The second album, Brightness & Darkness, explores themes of social displacement and personal emotional journeys, painting darkly shimmering dreamscapes inspired by the Impressionist era.

NOHMI won the award in 2025, “The Records, Keep an Eye Foundation”
