My name is Tal Gordon. I am a South African musician who has recently relocated to Amsterdam. In the past year or so, I have developed a deep interest in the world of management and booking. On my personal journey as a musician and bandleader, I had to struggle with all of the obstacles of running my own band. This has inspired me to empower musicians by ensuring they will have work and be treated with respect and dignity so that they can focus primarily on creating their art. I am currently working as a manager for Amsterdam based pianist Avishai Darash.

jazzahead! is one of the leading jazz conferences in the world and I believe that as a starting up manager and booker, this event would be the perfect experience where I can simultaneously learn about the industry and meet giants of this industry who have years of experience.
