Tami Toledo Matuoka

Tami Toledo Matuoka is a multifaceted professional in the music industry with diverse skills, including producing, tour management, public relations, social media management, project management, and mentoring for both emerging and established musicians. Her extensive experience encompasses numerous concerts in over 15 countries, including renowned events like SummerStage in Central Park, New York, North Sea Jazz Festival, and Rock in Rio.  

Additionally, she currently serves as a project manager at the Bimhuis in Amsterdam, where she is actively involved in the European Union project ‘Better Live’ which focuses on music and sustainability. She plays a crucial role in creating opportunities for a more sustainable approach to artist touring. 

She has helped hundreds of musicians strategically navigate the complex world of the contemporary music industry, providing them with invaluable guidance and support. She also collaborates as a mentor and expert with various organizations, including Amarte Fonds and Keep an Eye Foundation. Since January 2024, Tami has been part of the mentoring team at the Manchester Jazz Festival’s hothouse career development project. 

Tami’s passion for sharing her knowledge and experience with others has led her to become a teacher of entrepreneurship in music at several prestigious Dutch institutions, such as Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht, Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag, and Conservatorium van Amsterdam, where she inspires the next generation of music professionals to reach their full potential.
