Maaike den Dunnen

Expect a narrative song programme consisting of accessible original songs (including Starbright, which was selected by Mariah Carey, Angie Stone and Jill Scott for the semi-finals of the International Songwriting Competition and the Unsigned Only Music Competition). Den Dunnen also surprises with jazz versions of pop classics, such as Cyndi Lauper’s True Colors. Her quirky cover of the 80s hit won second prize in the Made In New York Jazz Competition 2024, courtesy of jazz legends Mike Stern, Randy Brecker and Lenny White.
