Dutch report about the Netherlands focus country

Amanda Kuyper from Dutch newspaper NRC made a report about the Dutch focus at jazzahead! 2024. She followed bass player and composer Alessandro Fongaro during his days in Bremen and wrote also about other Dutch activities.

Alessandro Fongaro performed on Thursday with his band Pietre and on Sunday as a duo together with violin player George Dumitriu at the Afterglow Jazzride.

Dutch jazz is rich in cultural influences from outside.
