Open-Air Stage: Bremen meets Groningen and the Netherlands

On Thursday 11 April, the Open-Air Stage is dedicated to ‘Bremen meets Groningen and the Netherlands’. During this day young professionals on the cusp of a professional career from both Groningen and Bremen will take the stage.

ZOOE is an Organ Trio formed by students of the Prins Claus Conservatory in Groningen. Benefitting from the warm, emotional tones of the organ and experimenting with various rhythms and genres, ZOOEE brings a soulful twist to the classic jazz trio format. The three band members quickly found a connection with each other’s sound and together created a soulful twist to the classic jazz trio format which will invite the audience to tap and swing along.

Matoya is a versatile band of musicians from Groningen. Despite the different cultural backgrounds of the band members, the love for Neo-Soul and old school R&B brings this unlikely group of friends together. Matoya’s original music warms your heart and invites your body to dance.
